I could narrate the entire experience...but it’s best you see it for yourself.

I am sure seeing the Vietnam Memorial in Washington, would be a moving experience. I am not sure if anough time could ever pass, that I wouldn’t break down in tears at the sight.
I have, however, been to Capas, Tarlac, Luzon. My uncle, for whom I was named, died enroute to Camp O’Donnell. I am not sure if they ever found his body.
Several times, while watching news reel films, my dad swore up and down, that he saw his brother in those films. Who knows for sure?

Wow, yes, you would never know. Grainy 1960 film, all the guys looking similar and not too close up...

I’ve only been in DC once as an adult so I’ve never been to the memorial either.
