Yes. And unfortunately, I posted two of these stories this evening, and the second one appears to be attempted murder, by the pit bull, upon orders of the husband, of his wife.
I believe that I am finished with this subject for some time.
Thank you, Norski.

Yes. They are.
This breed cannot help it. They were bred to do just this.
If you wish more information on the subject, or references backing up this statement, please either read posts with “pit bull” as a keyword or ask for the web link list. I will be happy to repost it in its entirety.

“Too many damned stupid people.”
I see this particular comment all over the place, it’s as cliched as it is meaningless.

If intelligence is measured as a marker of survivability, the trend growing over the past many decades to favor animals over humans, in an existential sense, is a clear indication of low IQ.

“This breed cannot help it.”
Let’s think this through a little bit—can any dog, anywhere, ever have a deliberate causal effect on any moral question?

I don’t find them good looking at all. Some of them even look like hell hounds, I am not kidding lol. Even if they weren’t known to be vicious I would still think they are not cute dogs (all puppies are of course.)

As if there are no bad dogs. We know there are some bad seeds, and not just pits. Most of the time they are trainable and want to be obedient to pack but not always. Dogs can have a mind of their own, they aren’t robots.

No...they don’t want to be obedient...they need to be told of their place in the pack.
Give them a job. Make them work. It makes them happier too.

If one claims to be a Christian, it would behoove one not to post anything that implies “raca”, would it not?

Interesting you like their looks. I find them to be the ugliest, most grotesque of dogs. Then you add the disposition of killer on top of that and you have ugly to the bone.

You go search right now on happy pitbulls or smiling pitbulls.
Tell me they can’t be saved.
They can.

"...but you dont street rescue a 7 year old pit."
"...pit bull that had been rescued off the street by its owner four years ago."
"6- or 7-year-old" It would have been around 2 or 3 when taken in by the owner. Would the outcome have been better, if she'd picked it up as a small puppy? Our peers (neighbors and fellow Americans) will eventually be the judges of that and other questions. Such things tend to take time, and there will be differences in opinion between regions and states.
Pit bull owners are much safer from prosecution and lawsuits in states like Colorado and California, even after incidents. In other states, owners can much more easily lose their properties and/or freedom after incidents. Laws and policies vary quite a bit from state to state.

One does not own a pit bull dog. Their genetic makeup does not permit them to be made docile, especially when they are confused or feel threatened. A perfectly ignorant comment. Fighting dogs are bred to never attack humans. They have to be handled by strangers when they are injured.

So everyone should know what they are getting in to...
If you want an Alpha Dog....You’d better be an Alpha Owner.
Otherwise, people get bit and make fun of pitbulls.
They really are sweet and playful. Like boxers....but with more teeth. The teeth thing they have a hard time learning.
Be an Alpha. Save a deplorable.
