Having lived through Katrina and the aftermath and still living in the same spot I agree. A lot of folks do not understand.

I've been around South Fla. since the late 40’s. Haven't missed many hurricanes since including
Andrew.During the cleanup after Andrew my wife was a hostess at a local restaurant in the keys. Every day she told of hurricane workers who dug up body after body from the storm.Few were reported,including the freezer tractor trailer loads of migrants bussed out of South Dade.It took years to reclassify Andrew as a five. We have a govt. that stopped telling the truth years ago.
