Melania Trump was out in Washington DC yesterday evening with her son Barron, 12, husband Donald Trump, 72 and a surprising addition to the usual Trump clan, her glamorous mother, Amalija Knavs.
Showing the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree, Melania’s mother looked equally as glamorous as the First Lady.
Formally a pattern maker at the children's clothing manufacturer Jutranjka in Sevnica, Slovenia, Amalija joined the Trump family as they visited US military base, Joint Base Andrews.
The mother daughter duo looked happy and relaxed as they walked with Melania’s 12-year-old son Barron, with president Trump also in attendance.

The cigarette trousers were tight around Melania’s toned legs, and cut off just above the ankle.
She paired the flatteringly-cut trousers with a sky-high pair of yellow pointed toe stilettos, perfect for the hot summers day.
Toning down the ensemble, she finished the look off with a crisp white shirt with stiff collar and turned up sleeves, oozing businesslike sophistication.
Shielding her eyes from the bright son she wore a unusual pair of black sunglasses with a straight top.
She wore her caramel locks lose and down, again toning down the more daring outfit choice.
By her side, Melania’s mother wore a similar outfit style to her daughter, with fitted trousers and pale pink sky-high stilettos.
She wore a pale pink trouser suit which she paired with a simple white blouse.
Like her daughter she was also sporting a pair of black oversized sunglasses, keeping her eyes from sight.
Later in the day, Melania, Barron and Donald were spotted disembarking from Air Force Once upon arrival at Morristown airport in Morristown, New Jersey.
The trio were en route to Bedminster, New Jersey, where they are set to spend the weekend.

If Mrs. Knauss didn’t have the heels on, her head would be elbow-height on the rest of the family. (I have a son who can comfortably rest his elbow on my head; it’s annoying.)
You’re right about the proportions. Youth fashion doesn’t seem to look at how clothes go on a human body. It’s as if they’re just looking at the separate pieces on a website.
Melania often has very tasteful dresses which flatter her height. I like suede only for shoes and purses, though!

I think folks who complain about FLOTUS’ amazing looks are either jealous or likely complain about everything. Or both!!
I bet you are right about her growing up in the Eastern bloc.
When we visited Russia we were told not to smile or laugh or speak English out on the street. Reason being if you looked happy, that was suspicious. And if you spoke English you were a rich tourist and a good target for pick-pockets and thieves.

Look at the height on 12 year old Barron! Note that mom and grandma are both in 4-5 in heels!
I think maybe they live in NYC, perhaps at the Trump Tower apt but not sure about that. I know they’ve spent extensive time with Barron, and he speaks Slovenian.
I know for sure they haven’t lived in Slovenia for a while.
Extremely discreet profile, I assume per their wishes.
I love that POTUS is always professional and respectful in his attire, unless he’s on the golf course I suppose - otherwise he is pure business, 24/7.
