The big birds are amazing. We have blue herons that fly over our property, as well as wild turkeys that walk into the back in large groups.
Lots of turkeys in WI too. Seems like there are more than when I was a kid.
Makes me want a Thanksgiving feast when I see them. Turkey,dressing and potatoes.
Our new house has woods behind it and we had a whole bunch of turkeys up in the trees one day. Since then I was told they roost in trees at night. They are such awkward fliers.
There is a cute sparrow sized bird that sits on my deck railing. I don’t know what it’s called yet. Have to get out the book again. He is a pretty gray color and prettier than a regular sparrow and shaped more elegantly
. Such a sweet little bird.
