To relieve them of their suffering when no cure is at hand is the most humane thing you can do. Good on you that you realize that. All too often I encounter stories of people who put their pets through awful tribulations for no good purpose other than their own desire that the pet stays alive. Sad.

Once , we had a blue healer, we ignored the symptoms, we could not face the problem, the poor baby died a difficult death.

A heart attack, I know that sounds easy enough , but it wasn’t. It was awfull. If we had have just put her to sleep....

I’ve done that turfmann, kept a pet, through awfull tribulation, for no other purpose........than to have another day,.....our poor healer , who we would not put down, Gasped, and struggled, suffered, because we could not put her downn
