Short flights like that make no real sense. Add in getting to and from the plane and security time and it’s almost always faster to drive. Then there’s the question of whether the plane will be on time. Short flights like that often aren’t, as I discovered to my disadvantage when living and working in Milwaukee and connecting by air from Milwaukee to Chicago, until I got smart and started driving that 90 miles instead of flying.
The only reason I have ever seen to take a short flight would be to go through security at a much smaller airport.

Some really do-—I flew from Providence,RI to Islip,NY in about 40 minutes-——saved about 4 hours driving time through dreadful New York City area traffic.
