I used to have a cabin on Screamer mountain in Rabun county with no AC. I would leave Atlanta in August on Friday afternoon where it was miserable and get out of the car at the cabin to perfectly pleasant temps. Never needed more than the fans running. By 11:00 PM it was cool outside.
