On FB, on my timeline, the search is on for a stolen black and white Husky.
Some psycho bitch stole the dog and then BLEACHED his black hair orange to hide the identity of the dog.
Then she claimed she found it, posted photos of the “bath” she gave it [actually, the bleaching process] and was trying to sell it.
The whereabouts of the dog are still unknown.
The world is full of stark staring mad maniacs.

I know someone who is almost ridiculously caring of their animals, but treats people horribly. Not so sure about the philosophy that you can judge people by how they treat animals.
Good summary.
It has been my observation that adults treating animals nicely and humanely is not necessarily a reliable proxy for their quality as a person. As they say “Hitler liked dogs too”)
But I have found that adults who unnecessarily maltreat animals in any fashion are low quality people and should be avoided. (maltreat them as in throw things at them, kick them or curse them simply for being in proximity to them, etc.)
I have always found that to be quite a reliable indicator.
Real men hate cats. I always got a few around... sometimes I let the nice ones in the house. My feral killers live in the area.
People do not have cats, cats have people.
Nicely played. BTW, I wouldn’t have paid 25 cents. Not a cat fan.
