Shrimp cocktail (small ring) and a Two Hearted Ale...and a couple of home-made chocolate chip cookies for dessert & lime Perrier to wash down the cookies.
Even the shrimp cocktail at the Oyster Bar has seen better days. They used to be yuge shrimp, like prawns, well worth the $18. And sweet and fresh and tender as can be. Now they are, like, normal. Still the same price of course.
I once said, long ago, we’re not going to starve. It’s just that the food will become worse and worse. Whoever I was talking to nodded sagely. Little did I know.
