Back in the early 90s, he was in the larger press pool for the Ringo Star American tour.
All reporters had to stand in a line and ask one question, then go to the end of the line.
Shuddering John gets to the front of the line and asked, “ What did I you do with the money Ringo?” And Ringo said What Money?
And John said the money your mother gave you for singing lessons.
And the entire pool lost it laughing and cringing... greatest radio ever.
