When you might have a cancer with a 5-year survival rate of under 20%, mouse studies provide a helpful option to explore, and might make you the first to prove it in humans, too.

Perhaps, but lots of things cause (and cure) cancer in mice.

I suspect many of the (mice) cancer cures don't work in humans because the FDA requires humans to undergo chemo first.
