Point remains, there are plenty of people in coma who are on ventilation.
They can’t breathe on their own either.
So what is their real point then?
Euthanasia by default.

I notice that the pro-euthanasia people are rather alive.
One would think they would lead by example.

A person in a coma has a living, functional brain and is therefore fully alive. Often, comatose people are aware of what is going on around them. I’m all for keeping comatose people alive and giving them the time they need for their brains to heal. (If you ever have a comatose relative, remember that—talk to them and provide something worthwhile to listen to.)

Jahi was not comatose. She was dead. Her brain was mummified. There is no particular benefit to maintaining the body of a dead person in a lifelike state. In fact, there is quite a bit of harm. For example, how did Jahi’s siblings fare when their mother was obsessing over their sister’s corpse for several years?
