You are correct, I felt a twinge in m,y response that I was mis stating things and I apologize for the error, point made and accepted. What I was driving towards is that Kennedy intended to follow on the thread of thought that Eisenhower started to beware the Military Industrial Complex who was growing fat through the misery and exploitation of others. Similar to what Pharma is being found out as a similar model.
And getting the Fed out of our lives I believe was another facet of Kennedy’s plans

I didn’t mean to sound argumentative, I was just expanding on your point. I too think Kennedy was opposing the military-industrial complex. Moreover, the CIA had lied to him to approve Bay of Pigs, and they were pushing him for a bigger invasion, plus the Pentagon was pushing him to get involved more deeply in Vietnam and he was resisting both I think.
