Let’s face it, cherry, we ran two old, male, out of touch, cripples (Dole and NoName) against the Dems. Our party didn’t want to win... They just wanted our donations. Same with Romney. They knew many conservatives would hate his record and many Christians would refuse to vote for a Morman. Again, they just wanted our money.
None of the people put up by the party against Trump could have beaten Her Heiness. Trump had to run as an outsider, with his own money, and his own security, and his own message, to make it. The party fought him every step of the way. And they still do. Look how many of them are retiring!
As Q said, we have to forget about party, race, nationality, or religion and vote for those who DO good. Who ARE good and are willing to fight evil.

This is twice now in that the last few hundred posts that the Lord has been invoked in a less than majestic almighty manner befitting really Who He IS. He is not just a force for good, or a radical idea, He is so far beyond that the two comparisons aren't even in the same world. I understand the impulse to go to the extreme, but I believe this dishonors the Lord and is beneath those who profess to call on Him in this crisis. Out of respect for the Almighty I would ask that we abstain from comparisons between this measly human affair and God.
