I agree that the site "Amerika" is pretty odd.

The site is run by someone named "Bret Stephens", but I don't think it's the fellow whose Wikipeida bio you posted that writes for the NY Times.

I deduce that based on:

Amerika Bret's mission statement:

Amerika approaches politics as philosophy and not a team sport. We intend to restore Western Civilization through a focus on realism and a drive toward excellence. In our view, human groups succumb to herd behavior when they focus on people (means-over-ends) instead of their purpose (ends-over-means). Western Civilization fell because it relied on a type of collectivized individualism known as Crowdism; the antidote to this can be found in our most ancient traditions, including reverence and aggression. We have no interest in the football game of Red team versus Blue team politics, but turn our minds toward the eternally practical: how to adapt to our world in the best way possible and rise above all that would thwart us.

If he was the same person he'd have been fired a long time ago by the NY Times for his articles on this site.

It's quite possible that Amerika's "Bret Stephens" is a pseudonym..

I did find a podcast interview with "Amerika Bret" HERE which I may listen to, and see if his bio is included. I could not find a bio for him on Amerika site. (why wouldn't he link he Wiki bio if it was the same guy?

To: Jack Black; bagster

You are absolutely correct and I am WRONG. NOT the same guy as on the NYT, totally different spellings.

Amerika guy - Brett Stevens

NYT guy - Bret Stephens

I definitely need to focus my mind better.

BUT BUT BUT:

Here is an interesting thing. Some of the writers listed on the Amerika site basically do not exist, such as Brock Dorsey, as I noted above. DOES NOT EXIST. He is a dead heavy metal dude, and has a recent Gab account, and just started writing for Amerika. THAT IS ALL.

Media Relations: James Price
Culture: Everitt Foster
Lifestyle: Lilou & John
Politics: Stephen van Walraven
Editor: Brett Stevens

Stephen van Walraven apparently does not exist except a tiny youtube channel and as a writer for Amerika. Hmmm.

James Price - after searching, there is apparently NO footprint for a James Price that writes for Amerika other than the site itself. The other James Prices are people like a Danish chemist, a guy in AU who is into horses, an Enlgish one who tweets only about British issues.

Everitt Foster has a bit more info (not much though(, a writer apparently who lives in TX and is into using drugs, and a mention on this Death Metal site, along with Brett Stevens, and oddly enough, Brock Dorsey has no existence other than as a dead heavy metal guy, also mentioned on this site:

http://www.deathmetal.org/about/

Here is more info about Everitt Foster:

My conclusion:

ALL the writers for AMERIKA ARE USING PSEUDONYMS!
