Necrosis—the death and decay of body tissue—is just about the worst thing that can happen to a person, at least if it's not isolated.

It's what happened to Bo Jackson's hip tissue after a severe injury caused by a violent sideline tackle, ultimately forcing his retirement from the NFL...

Necrosis of hip joint...tackle made on bo not particularly violent.(its on youtube)he did appear to stretch out affected leg while being grabbed by his lower legs...anyway...since when is a tackle not violent?
