Ocasio-Cortez is the next congresscritter from NY-14. The district went for Obama 76 to 23 and 80.7 to 18.3 and for the Hildebeest 78 to 20. Slovenly Joe won his 2016 race 82.9 to 17.1.
However, she is an example of Democrat Party's leftward lurch. She'll win due to New Yawk values, but her ilk's existence is going to prove a big problem for the 'Rats.
I saw a clip of the socialist that defeated Crowley. First question she was asked: Will you support impeachment? I’m getting tired of asking the question: For What?

What drove that comment? The young female socialist that bumped their “has it wrapped up” guy - huge chaos within the Dem ranks over this and it exposes how Left/Commie the Party really is....practically zero chance of a Repub ever taking the seat so this is another “Maxine Moment” for them.
One look at the demographics of New York's 14th congressional district tells the story of why Crowley lost. There's also no denying that Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez ran a very smart and high energy campaign on a shoestring budget.
So give her credit where credit's due. I suspect she'll win Crowley's seat in the General, again -- demographics 'n all that. Identity politics, the rallying cry of the radical leftist-progressive's in the Democrat Party being what it is, this isn't really a "wake up call" as some are saying it is for the Democrat Party. That's a good thing, let them sleep right through the General Election in November as they suffer historic losses elsewhere in the country.
It's going to be sweet to watch. I only wish that CNN would bring back Judy Woodruff so she can cry "What's happening to our country?!" again on the air, LOL!!!!!
