It's the earliest Kohl's has ever started hiring seasonal workers
You don't say. Talk about timing. "Kohl"s.
Heck, H & H Bagels is adding shifts for the next two Christmas seasons. And don’t even think about asking for Festivus off.
Isn’t it rayciss to call it Christmas season?
H&H is real picky about gum in the dough.
It is rayciss to call it a “White” Christmas.
Snow is evil.
Snow is white.....clear racism.
What happened to those predictions that raising the minimum wage would kill all the new jobs? It’s $11.00 hr here in CA and there’s Now Hiring signs everywhere.
Kohl's gives workers more hours only if they're good at pushing credit cards.
.
Yes, Yehova is clearly a racist! (he said so in his word)
.
.
Its definitely Pagan to call it “christmas season.”
The only Biblical holiday at that time is Chanukkah.
.
“”””Kohl’s gives workers more hours only if they’re good at pushing credit cards.”””””
I’m gonna get a shirt made that says...NO I DON’T WANT YOUR DAMN CARD
.
$11.00/hour is a wet kleenex here in the SF Bay area.
.
“$11.00/hour is a wet kleenex here in the SF Bay area.”
Very true, but for high school and college kids working for spending money it is something.
.
If there are not enough workers, we’re just gonna have to cut back more on the EBT cards and other benefits so the Gibmedats will be forced to come out of early retirement.
“Put down the bottle and step away from the bong... and get a job!”
It might save time.
I feel bad for the employees. It wasn’t the cashier’s idea, or even the store manager’s, to have the company focusing on credit card interest rather than retail sales as their profit center.
At Menards there is an older lady cashier and I try to go to her when I can. She always asks me if I will be putting it on my Menards card. I say no, I will be using one of the cards I stole yesterday. We always joke about the requirement that she ask every customer. At least there they don’t get so aggressive about it. Unlike Target where I have to say no and nearly give them the finger before they get it.
I often say, “I know you have to ask me, but no, thank you.”
Last fall at Target the cashier asked my wife. She said no thank you. Then a manager of some type came over and blocked her cart for 19 minutes and kept going on and on about it.
She is a very polite person....until she finally told him to _____off. She did some serious hell raising with corporate the next day. Not that they care.
The manager probably had a quota to meet and was getting desperate.
And no, they don’t care at corporate. They consciously made the decision to operate this way.
