A lot of money has been raised and it is intended for road repair.

But the best laid plans......

” Government officials had set a slow pace on signature verification but, after threatening action over the delay, the signature verification was completed”

Just like California. Thwart the will of the people any way they can. When it passes it will be ruled unconstitutional.

With gas around $3.85/gallon for regular, by far the highest in the nation, it’s time for the Dems to raise money another way.

It would repeal the recent increase in gas taxes of $.12 per gallon. If it passes, California gasoline will only be $.88 more per gallon than the national average.

Baby steps, I suppose.

Huge thank you to John and Ken. We couldn’t have done it without them.

Can’t imagine even the low info voter would vote yes to tax themselves but let’s see how they word the initiative..I’m sure they’ll spin it with double negative, confusing language.

The people of this state are stupid. Once Gavin Newsome tells them to vote against repeal, they will vote against repeal.

Newsome will win with at least 65% of the vote and the gas tax repeal will fail by a similar margins. We will probably vote for some more Prop 47-like inititives too to help our crime go up even more and the homeless doper population to continue to grow.

The Jacka$$ Rat State Senator from Fullerton whom was the deciding vote to increase the Gas tax got his butt handed to him in the recall election and it wasn’t even close.

The money, most if not all, would never have gone for road repair...

It sure would be nice if they used some of the many billions of dollars of rainy day funds just lying there waiting for conniving leftists to steal..

or maybe kill the Hi-$pin railjob and use those funds to serve as many tax paying road using Californians instead of only a few and not even in the foreseeable future.

But No. This is California.. where brain rot is now the most available commodity and corrupt politicos are a dime a dozen.
