The more competent ones should be deputized as U.S. Marshals, so they could arrest their harassers, rather than to have to rely on Local Law Enforcement around D.C. which is most likely to be leftist leaning and aligned with the harassers.
(OK, I’m not sure if that is legally possible, and if the real U.S. Marshals would be angered by it, but SOMETHING needs to be done about this situation)
