Who do you think you are to judge who can be trusted with a firearm and who cannot? What high perch do you stand upon that makes you better than everyone else?

There are in fact a lot of people whom I do not trust with firearms. I've walked off of unsupervised ranges several times because someone was handling them in a manner that I judged, just in my opinion, to be unsafe.
Choosing to arm yourself for self defense is a very serious thing. It takes training, discipline and a commitment to maintain marksmanship and correct mental attitude. Legal aspects not withstanding, there are some people who should not be armed. It's not people like me who feeds the anti-gun people. It's careless, inept people. I've known enough politicians to know that a LOT of them fall into that category.
