That’s a strange looking mix of “uniforms.”
Shooting blanks In the picture.

not blanks.
Theft is theft. It doesn’t matter if its medical supplies, food, equipment or weaponry this airman is going to be stripped to E-1, given a dishonorable discharge and sent to Leavenworth because of the seriousness of the charge. There are thieves in every branch of the service and there should be consequences for their actions. We will know the name of the airman soon I believe as it will not be kept secret.
Yep, long prison sentence. Plus the reduction in grade, forfeiture of pass and allowances and a punitive discharge.
Now that's the ticket.
I talked to a guy that was TDY to Barksdale when they discovered the “missing” nukes. He said the concrete was damn hot when the Security Police pulled, jumped out with M-4s and put the whole flight line face down. Said it took about 2 hours for them to feel secure enough to let people up. Weapons were like Christmas stockings; hung with care still on the bomber. What a CF!!! Can’t remember how many colonels lost out on that one, but no one went to jail. Where is Curtis LeMay when you need him??
“worst possible place...”
a daycare full of baby hitler super-clones?
That's the theory. Years ago, I spoke with a man who had worked at a precious-metals mine near Silverton, CO. He mentioned a situation, where blasting in the mine had exposed a rich vein of native gold; he said the foreman assigned him and one other guy to watch the exposed rock face (and each other), while the foreman went off to report the find (or whatever). As the miner described it, as soon as the foreman was out of sight, BOTH of the watchmen started stuffing their pockets.

Based on some of the comments, we all know who isn’t prior military.
If I were a betting guy, I'd wager he's just a dumbass airman with zero impulse control or ability to visualize long-term consequences. I've seen it before. Of course, his court martial will be a matter of public record and if he's found guilty, so will his name.
99.99999% of all the small arms ammunition the Navy expends are spent in training exercises. There are no front line combat operations currently taking place in Mayport, Florida.
Unlike civilians, the military typically doesn't release the names of accused individuals until after they're convicted in a court martial.

I spent an eternity in Minot one month. Everyone up there say hello to the raging mouse river.
Why not Minot?
That’s OK a while back they misplaced a nuke.
