Those Residing In the United States

Posted on 06/24/2018 6:56:23 AM PDT by IndispensableDestiny

In the United States, we have residing:

Citizens

Citizens by Birth
Naturalized Citizens

Aliens

Legal aliens present as representatives (diplomats, etc.)
Legal aliens present by visa (education, work, immigration, etc.)
Resident Aliens (Green Card holders)
Illegal Aliens

I cannot think of any other categories. "Dreamers" are illegal aliens given a special status by Executive Order.

TOPICS: Miscellaneous
KEYWORDS: aliens; immigration

I’ve yet to see proof Soetoro is.

Natural Born Citizen = Citizen by Birth, yes??

Citizen at birth, with the caveat that the parents are Citizens themselves, whether they were naturalized or were already Natural Born Citizens themselves.

Thus the desire by foreigners/aliens to become a US Citizen.
Their American born children will be natural born Citizens, even though they themselves never will be.
If their children were foreign born then their children will be NBC's.

Don't forget, positive law can't supersede natural law and make someone a NBC.

JMO, YMMV

Positive law...(immigration law [uniform rule of naturalization])
Chapter 3 – United States Citizens at Birth (INA 301 and 309)
A person born in the United States who is subject to the jurisdiction of the United States is a U.S. citizen at birth, to include a person born to a member of an Indian, Eskimo, Aleutian, or other aboriginal tribe.

Illegal Aliens are further subdivided into two categories:
  1. Those who entered legally and are now in violation of the terms of their Visa (e.g., overstays or student Visa holders who remain after their student status terminates).
  2. Those who entered unlawfully.
Both categories are problematic, but especially the second.
