The bakery didn’t refuse the gay couple service.
They would have sold them any other product.
They just wouldn’t make them a wedding cake, because of the owners religious beliefs about the sanctity of marriage.

True. The gay customers didn’t ask for the standard product, they wanted a custom product. The bakery refused to customize the product.

Comparing the Huckabee ouster from the restaurant with the gay wedding issue is a false analogy. The correct analogy would be Sarah Huckabee ordering something not on the menu at the restaurant and the restaurant owner declining to make the special item. However, that is not what happened in this situation. Huckabee was asked to leave, the gays were not asked to leave the bakery.
