10 episodes, sounds more like ABC is doing the right thing and giving a severance package. The only question is how many episodes will actually air.
If Roseanne Barr retains the rights of Rosanne Conner... won’t she become “we don’t say her name”?

People didn’t watch a Roseanne reboot because of nostalgia. They watched it for the conservative working class ethos.
It is like liberals saying “Let’s run Oprah”, thinking people want a celebrity instead of an advocate for the working class and traditional American values.

It is unclear how exactly Barr’s character will be written off but ABC describes it as “a sudden turn of events.” ...
They’ll likely have her OD...since she was last (last episode) addicted to pain meds.

Actually, I think the Seinfeld show without Jerry would probably be just fine. I very rarely thought anything he did ever contributed much to any of the episodes. The funny people were Kramer, George and Elaine.
Jerry was just annoying most of the time.

One season? I shall be surprised if it goes further than three episodes.
