New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio said today that he was "shocked" to discover that more than 200 of the more than 2,000 children recently detained separately from parents or guardians after crossing the southern border had been transported to the Big Apple. President Trump today signed an order suspending the portion of the administration's "zero tolerance" policy that separated children from parents at the border, including among those petitioning for asylum who didn't use a port of entry. "It is also the policy of this administration to maintain family unity, including by detaining alien families together where appropriate and consistent with law and available resources," stated the order. "It is unfortunate that Congress's failure to act and court orders have put the Administration in the position of separating alien families to effectively enforce the law." The Department of Homeland Security said this week that from May 5 thru June 9, 2,342 children were separated from 2,206 adults. There was no indication that Trump's order included reuniting those already separated.

back in 2014/15, the Reps were demanding to know where all the illegals were being shipped.
Fast forward to 2018, and the Liberals are demanding to know where all the illegals are being shipped. And promising, state by state, to ferret out the centers.
I’m betting more then a few also went to Baltimore.
There should be signs all along the border informing those about to illegally enter the US that all children will be held separately from their parents or guardians. And buy time on radio stations stating the same. If stations won’t sell the time them the government can broadcast it.
Then any parents coming across can’t say they didn’t know.
Of course, it’s too late for this simple option now.
If he likes illegal immigrant children so much, send them all to New York City.
Obama was shipping these kids all over the US.

None of the kids will end up living with Comrade DeBlasio in the governor’s mansion.
No doubt he’ll have them moved into his place, STAT!
IIRC, that is how Jeb Bush got BJ Clinton to stop moving all of Haiti to Florida - he threatened to simply bus them up to DC.
