Call up more National Guard or re-deploy a few active duty units along the border to stop 100% of everything from coming north.

Trump needs to put so much political/economic pressure on Mexico that their legs start to wobble. I would drag this in from of the UN and show their human rights violations. Point out to a lot of European countries that the United States IS NOT going to end up in the situation many of them are finding themselves. Reiterate that Mexico's and every other nation on the planet that facilitates human trafficking into the United States is, by definition, declaring war on this sovereign country and that allows President Trump much more latitude in how the United States responds to this invasion. Militarize the border NOW!

What they really want is a porous border.
Detaining those who illegally cross is the real problem for the left. They want more voters and they don’t want to see them discouraged. All this news lately could very easily be helping the Trump cause to slow the illegals, but I don’t know how the news goes out south of the border, or where ever else the border-crossers originate from. But the child seperation issue is an easy target to tar Trump. I think the easiest answer right now for him politically is to do something about the seperation issue, but assure that detention is not relaxed. The way I heard Sessions describe it, those who don’t attempt to intrude or smuggle across a non-port-of-entry are not even facing the seperation and detention problems. But I still think you need to take the hot button issue of the children away from the pseudo-indigant opportunists in the media who never would have cared to spend two minutes reporting on it if it weren’t happening under Trump

Stop the infestation of illegal aliens at the border. Close the border. Anyone crossing gets turned back. Turn the children back to Mexico where they crossed from. Give the “parents” the choice of going with them or going to jail. NEVER LET A KID STAY IN THE COUNTRY. Number one, both sides are going to use this for an election campaign, so republicans are desperate for a resolution, so they’re jumping on the “free the children” bandwagon, even though they know full well, that these kids in confinement, have never had it so good. Number two, they can’t build a wall fast enough to solve the problem in time for the election. Number three, they can’t just send everyone back, because our law says if they ask for asylum, they have to be given that chance, which takes time. Number four, if they send everyone back who isn’t asking for asylum, it won’t make a dent in the numbers. Number five, the liberals are absolutely jumping up and down with glee, because not only have they distracted half the country from the IG/Mueller fiasco, they have a guaranteed tear jerker issue, that damns Trump if he does, and damns him if he doesn’t. Almost no one coming across our border fits the qualification of "refugee" eligible for asylum. Simply fleeing poverty or searching for El Dorado doesn't cut it. They have to have a well founded fear for their life and they must show proof of their claim. How many ignorant poor bring proof that their life or freedom would be threatened on account of race, religion, nationality, membership in a particular social group, or political opinion?
