New Zealand man arrested for stealing human toes from dead body exhibit

It sure is. The Body Worlds exhibit came to a city near me awhile back. And a first-generation Chinese-American friend of mine went absolutely ballistic. Reports were filtering back to our local Chinese-American community: Many of the bodies on display there were Chinese. Some could have been relatives of his.

Body Worlds will tell you that those bodies were freely “donated”. Yeah, right.

As you noted, it’s porn, pure and simple. If Body Worlds had used accurate plastic models instead, nobody would show up.

Now class, compare the foresight of our founding fathers and their views of the possible perils of society versus what was anticiptaed and written into law in NZ.

We are probably the only industrialized nation in the world that does not outlaw toetaking. And frankly, that makes me sad.

I admit I have mixed feelings...they have these exhibits with corpses playing chess, dancing ballet and such, but are upset when someone removes a piggy here or there for a snack????
