Today is Fathers Day, a day set aside for everyone to celebrate the dads in their lives who have made the effort to raise their children and keep them safe from harm.
Of course, given the manner in which some children behave, that can be easier said than done, and can at times require seemingly superhuman efforts to keep kids who put themselves in danger from experiencing real harm.
The following video is a collection of clips of superhuman dads doing just that, quite literally saving their own kids or perhaps even the children of others just in the nick of time.
Please take a moment out of your day to watch these dads do what dads sometimes have to do.

Is there a good link? It just kept running commericals longer than 60 seconds.
For a good chortle, imagine Dorkbama the Muslim eunuch quota boy in any of those shots and then imagine the child meeting disastor.
Wow!
My dad has been gone since 12/95. He wasn’t anyone’s idea of a macho male, much less a hero. But I know without a single doubt that if it took his life to save mine, he would not have hesitated a second. And there isn’t a day that goes by that I don’t miss him terribly. Father’s Day is very hard for me. For you who still have your dads, appreciate them! For you who are dads, Happy Father’s Day.
My Father pulled one of those off when I was about 12 years old at Cedar Point. We were on one of those hilly roller coaster rides. When we left the station, my lap bar released. I told my Father. His arm came down across me like a steel bar. He literally held me in at the top of the hills. Id have definitely been ejected otherwise. We of course told the people running the ride when we got back to the station. They shut down the ride for a little bit and took that train offline.
The dads are just so nonchalant about it.
All in a day’s work.
Linky brokey.
Step away from the digital distraction! Hehehe. d;^)
Great pic.
Wish I had a video of the time when my son somehow managed to get his foot up into the seat of his baby swing and then pushed himself out. We were sitting on the back patio ... concrete — as our little one started falling out and down, my hubby nonchalantly reached one arm out and caught him, the instant before his head hit the ground, turned him upright and sat him in his lap. It was so beautifully choreographed and smooth, if I hadn’t seen it with my own eyes I wouldn’t have believed it.
Because they are men. Thats why.
Thanks for the happy fathers day. I sorry about your dad. Mine is still here, but my grandfather is not, and I too miss him everyday. Remember the good times, and Honor his memory.
God bless you.
Great one!
With Obama, any number of those kids might not be here.
Annoying sound track, could not watch over 15 seconds!
