Y-chromosone DNA testing is the way to go. Clinton's father, Clinton's father's father, and the whole male line share the same Y-chromosone information. Some direct male line descended from his father's father's father's father, for example.

Once this connection is established a skilled genealogist/geneticist can trace through the threads and narrow the results down, perhaps even directly to Clinton.

The young man's claim, along with that genetic evidence would be pretty convincing. They used far sketchier evidence in an attempt to indict Thomas Jefferson. There are public databases of genetic informaton. No doubt one of these contains the DNA of a Clinton relative.

At the minimum, it should be fairly easy to establish a common male ancestor. Bill's brother probably would do the genetic test for a line of coke and a case of beer if you wanted to cut to the chase. Heck, Monica Lewinski might even be willing to offer the little blue dress for testing.
