Yes Tiger is not yet making a comeback (if he ever does) at the 2018 U.S. Open.

Then again, at the end of day two he is still ahead of some recent era top players, like Matt Kucher, Jason Day, Rory McIlroy, Sergio Garcia, John Rahm, Martin Kaymer.

Even Justin Thomas is in a tie for 15th place at 8 points behind the leader, along with Jason Dufner, Jim Furyk and 7 others.

I still see Tiger as in “recovery” mode after lots of surgeries and retraining to get his body to play without too much pain and near as natural as it use to. He may never have a real “comeback”.

I think there is too much focus on him; then again I am not running a TV channel selling advertizing.

I guess Tiger is not making the cut for day three (+8).

I still believe when he came back too soon and won that 2008 Open, it cost him future Major victories to get that one.
