Just wondering how many FReepers have more than one account and if banned are they able to re-register and start over?

To your second question, no.

I’ve never been banned, or even warned. I’ve had the same unsername for 17 years. However, I would very much like to change my username without re-registering (don’t want to lose my registration date or post history). I know this isn’t allowed in the FR software. But, I’m wondering if a special one-time allowance per user could be made, maybe even for a FR donation of a set amount.

I got banned and when I logged back on four years later I saw I had an email stating that I was banned for 24 hours.

I was here in the late 90’s, left but just lurked for about a yr when I registered under a new name...for the life of me I can not remember my old name although if I ever saw it used, I’d know....I printed out a bunch of old Quidam threads at the time but never saw my handle.

If you are zotted or banned - can you re-register under a new name? Hmmm. There's certainly a broader application beyond FR. As in, WWJD? The religious establishment would surely attempt to ban him for being a subversive retread.
