I quickly discovered that here in Texas, virtually every Mexican joint uses preformed premade Taco Bell type taco shells. It’s a real drag. Almost none deep fry their own. Marianna’s Tacos in Frisco is an exception. And they are from San Diego too. Excellent authentic Mexican Food and they do their own taco shell. I miss Tito’s tacos in Culver City......Tex Mex is just ok but if I grew up on it, I’d probably prefer it too. Like they do here.

My wife let us buy a small condo in Old Town Orange just to have as a vacation retreat so i can go back and eat at the joints i grew up on. I listen to KFI when I”m there and I just love....I mean love John and Ken. They just rail against California politics and politicians and John is hilarious. I’m sure the Democrats and hispanic racist leaders there just HATE those guys. Thanks.
John and Ken have grown into being a very good at covering Socal and state politicians. That can be hard to do without making your eyes glaze over, but they manage to make it enertaining.
I just like how John belittles the Democrat politicians. Mocking them to no end, he’s got them all figured out which is why they must seethe when they hear his name. Hilarious to listen to and such truth in what they say....

He goes after quisling Republicans with equal venom, which is also great. He never openly says he’s a Trumper but I have no doubt.
If only the criminals and crazies would stick to killing themselves instead of killing others or taking others with them...
