Asked on the effectiveness of Haley’s role in the sanctions regime on North Korea, the French Permanent Representative to the UN, Ambassador François Delattre, told Fox News that, “Nikki Haley deserves much credit indeed for bringing the Security Council together on the three sets of sanctions on DPRK that were approved last year.”
Another former U.S. U.N. official, Hugh Dugan, who is now a professor at Seton Hall University’s School of Diplomacy and International Relations, told Fox News that, “The efficiency of the Security Council in coming to outcomes depends upon the distribution of power among its members, particularly the U.S., Russia, and China; perceptions of each other’s power play a strong role at that poker table. “
He said, “Compared to previous U.S. presidents, Trump’s worldview has engendered much more second-guessing by others of U.S. action. In turn, this has dealt to Ambassador Haley a wider range of hands to play. But the poker face and the bluff were all hers.”
Getting all 15 members of the Security Council was a major achievement.

A bluff she wouldn't have been able to play without President Trump's permission. That she pulled off the bluff is absolutely all hers and well done.

Pretty clearly Haley is the most impressive female UN ambassador since Jeanne Kirkpatrick. She will likely become the leading female Republican candidate for president, certainly a VP selection.

No not even close. Nikki Haley left to her own devices is an establishment RINO. That is what she was as the governor of SC. She sold her endorsement for president to Mitt Romney for $35,000. She was totally opposed to Trump for President.
Just like he did with Mike Pence Trump offered Nikki a job which took her out of office and paved the way for a much more conservative SC governor. Then Trump turned her around and got her onboard with his agenda. She and Mike Pence make fine dogs in the Trump wheel but neither of them are presidential material as they will immediately revert back to establishment drones.

You could not be more wrong. It is really about how well Trump did in making the choice for U.N. Ambassador that he did. Saying how well she did, carrying out the directives Trump gave her, is not any negative toward Trump.

The article started out by basically giving Haley credit for Trump’s success with North Korea.
Trump repeatedly credited the ones who helped: governments of Japan, China, and South Korea. The individuals he credited were Pompeo and his aides. He never stated it was all made possible by Nikki Haley and the U.N.
The U.N. is as useless as teats on a boar hog when it comes to getting anything accomplished.
Nikki Haley endorsed Little Marco during the primaries and slammed Trump.
She is at best a reasonably capable assistant to Trump in setting the conditions for dealing with the Norks and at worst just another conniving republican globalist punching another appointment ticket.

By what screaming stretch of the imagination can you say that Nikki Haley set conditions for dealing with the Norks? I saw a guy on Fox quote from a book that Trump wrote in 2000 about how he would deal with the Norks.
