Timeout for a grammar police moment.

illicit - not legally permitted or authorized; unlicensed; unlawful. Also, disapproved of or not permitted for moral or ethical reasons.

elicit - to draw or bring out or forth; educe; evoke: to elicit the truth; to elicit a response with a question.

See the difference? I know it's off-topic but this kind of thing irks my ilk.

I must be of the same ilk. My pet grammar peeve is the use of “to” when “too” is indicated. Whine finished.
