Usually in my world that means Intellectual Property i.e. in this case missile launch and control tech that is now compromised by the White Hats when the Chinese Space Station “splashed” into the ocean
They have got all of the necessary code etc to counter that which the CIA had been building in NK to use as a FF, same with some of the satellites they had put up to form a proprietary comms network private to all but special users. part of this was the launch “failure” of the ones that Zuck was trying to put up ostensibly for use over Africa

I’m not sure if this helps but another meaning for IP would be initial point. This was a term used in WWII. it referred to the spot a bomber would begin it’s bombing run at. The bombsites of the day required a period of straight and level flying to be adjusted for accurate results.
