when I began my comment about defining NBC this morning I had intended to further suggest a straight up defining of 2A to liberals, including language saying only convicted criminals or completely certified mentally ill people can be barred from gun ownership. I actually dozed off in writing my NBC comment so hit "post" then my pillow.
I am even bothered by and think strong deterrents need to be put on the removal of arms for mental problems. I know about the calls to FBI on shooters warning of mental instability etc. But we don't need any big loopholes for libs out there to be taking guns. It's too easy to find an amenable judge to make an unverified decision of "mentally unstable." And its super easy to find a shrink to say that, 95% of them are leftists too. In the case of people notifying LEO about a suspected dangerous person there needs to be real proof. And I think there was real proof in that FL kid. And others. Not trying to support terror. But as law abiding Americans, no one should have any easy means of taking any gun from us.
IMHO - More people lawfully being armed in schools is a better safety measure than removing firearms from the mentally unstable. If unstable all the bad guy has to do is steal someone else's gun like the kid here in Santa Fe TX did. And as far as barring criminals from gun ownership, uh, they're criminals, I think they can get a gun if they want one. The lunacy of the liberal, leftist, socialist people disgusts me.
You and I see this settled by the 2A language, but just like the NBC debate, there are too many leftwing dunderheads trying to twist the language. I'm tired of those ignoramuses.
