The order of appeal for this sort of case is to Circuit Court. But Judge Leon has set out in his ruling, a denial of stay pending appeal, giving the parties a huge window of time to close the deal before appeal. He says, in this order, if he was asked to stay pending appeal, he would reject the request.
It's a very heavy handed order. Maybe justified, but still heavy handed.
