I’ve put the Tonys on. I used to love this show, getting to see numbers I can’t afford or otherwise get out to see, right on tv. But it’s so hypocritical.
The first winner has come out and sobbed for ending the shame of the LGBTQ community. SHAME?? DISCRIMINATION??? since when?/?? The Tonys have been exclusively gay for years.
He ended by asking everyone to bake a cake for anyone who wanted a cake. What if President trump wanted a cake? Who’s going to put in the hemlock?
It’s such a shame. I used to love the Tony’s. That’s a really good point. There are so many openly gay people in the theatre community and very few people have a problem with it.
They definitely wouldn’t bake Trump, or conservatives a cake. The actress who plays Hermione in Harry Potter said Trump isn’t welcome to see her play. Hypocrites indeed.
