S&P 500 will be at 30,000 in 2030
Of course the 2030 dollars will be worth a nickel in today’s currency.
I have no idea about the S&P 500. When I set the knob for 2030, I just got the picture in post #1.
As of today S&P is at 2779.
Compound annual growth rate for stocks is ~ 10%. 2030 is 12 years from now.
1.1^12 =3.13
So I would guess somewhere in the 8000-9000 range.
Off course a lot of bad things can happen between now and then. War. Europe could fall to the muslim invasion. Trump could be impeached. Bernie could get elected. Kamala could be elected. Hillary could still be alive. RBG could still be alive and still be on the Supreme Court.
If you could go to 2030 and come back, just find out who won all the major sporting events and elections over the years from 2018-2030, and you’ll be able to become very wealthy on bets alone.
