If I cared about Hollywood and it’s success I would go but I don’t so I won’t. It could have billion dollar opening and it would no longer impress me. I used to be a big movie fan years ago. Going was a lot of fun. No longer. It shocks me how indifferent I am now to what is being offered. The last movie I went to in theatre was The Last Jedi and that pretty much killed the Star Wars fan in me. In what might be called collateral damage the rest of moviedom is also close to dead for me as well. The rest of the mass media complex is also in the same sinking boat.

I think the one thing that can’t be countered is Sandra Bullock is one of the most likable actresses on screen.

She is, pretty much, today’s George Clooney.

Since this is an offshoot and not an attempt to remake there isn’t the anger we saw at Ghostbusters.

Just chalk it up as another chick flick like the that Yaya Sisters of Traveling pants.

Don’t be surprised if hey start integrating from both sides of the Franchise.

Just my 2 cents after watching the industry for all these years.

The original remake of 11 was awesome. The original was awesome.Oceans 12 was a disappointment and 13 was pretty good.

The original Ocean’s 11 was far superior to anything that followed. All the remakes have been excuses for George Clooney to show the rest of us how much prettier, richer, and more clever he and his pals are than the rest of us. Ocean’s Twelve was the biggest FU to the audience I’ve ever seen, with Julia Roberts playing a woman who looks just like Julia Roberts, and filming on Lake Como so Clooney could write off his mansion there.

YEah, with ticket prices always going up, and considering inflation, every year its fairly easy to beat a previous years movie.

Gone With the Wind is the highest selling movie of All Time.
