Now this The Awan brothers server with much of the key evidence to the case has gone missing. The Epoch Times reported:
In a behind-closed-door briefing to the House leadership in September 2016, the inspector general said their activity was suspicious in part because the IT workers had taken steps to conceal their identities.
Excessive logons are an indication that the server is being used for nefarious purposes and elevated the risk that individuals could be reading and/or removing information, reads a presentation by the inspector general that was not released to the public.
The inspector general also warned of the risk that the server could be used as a repository to store documents taken from other offices or evidence of other illicit activity.
The investigation had uncovered Dropbox accounts installed on at least two Democratic Caucus computers used by the IT workers, against House IT policy.
The two accounts associated with the Dropbox accounts on the computers each contained thousands of files.
We have not been permitted to view content of the files on these workstations. However, based on the file names, some of the information is likely sensitive, the presentation says.
The inspector general also warned House leadership that the accounts could have been used to exfiltrate information.
While file-sharing sites, such as Dropbox, have legitimate business purposes, use of such sites is also a classic method for insiders to exfiltrate data from an organization.
Server Goes Missing
Following a second briefing in late September 2016, in which the House inspector warned the House leadership of continuing unauthorized access, the investigation was moved to the Capitol Police in October.
It was not until months later, on Feb. 2, 2017, that the House sergeant at arms banned the IT workers from the House network.
The Democratic Caucus server, which had been identified by the inspector general as ground zero of the suspicious activity, had disappeared at that time.
Three senior government officials with knowledge of the situation told the Daily Caller News Foundation last year that it had been physically stolen.
Substitute the last word “stolen’ and put ‘REMOVED’ in it’s place. This gives you a more realistic depiction of events.
TRUTH !
If files are in a DROPBOX, arent they findable?
Wasserman Shultz may end up wrapped in a carpet in Ft. Marcy Park if she doesn’t keep her mouth shut, if not floating face down in the Potomac.
The whole computer is stolen from what i understand
Riiiiiiiiiigggghhht
I'm not sure that fact is clearly explained in the link.
In any event, the Awan family pleaded guilty to Bank Fraud.
In spite of an incredible security breach that involved a couple dozen Democrats, no espionage or hacking charges have been filed against the Awan family, as far as I know.
Publicly released evidence indicates that Pakistani Intelligence was reading everything the Congressional Democrats put in their computers.
Once again, no charges have been filed on the computer issues that I know about, and no one in the MSM has been reporting on this incredible scandal.
Hoft’s reputation for accuracy is inversely proportional to his tendency toward pearl-clutching hype. Just wait for the wheels to turn.
Oh, Democrats colluding with foreign nationals and trafficking data to foreign entities? No problem, not guilty, no intent, no prosecutor would take the case. Move along, nothing to see....

I agree. Hoft is not someone to be trusted. I take all his stories with a grain of salt.
Correct, it is old news. Likely an insider that took a pay-off to remove it and hand it over. My humble guess is that there is some serious info on it....which you didn’t want to get out (money-laundering).
Our government is like the Keystone Cops. These jerks cant secure anything much less a server. Pathetic.
No problem...Sessions is on the case!
(HAT TIP OZARK TOM) Members of Congress appear to have used Dropbox to move files outside of the government computer system.
Imran Awan had at minimum one server at a location off-premises, which continued to copy files from servers of Congressional offices, even after permissions were revoked. He had all the Congressional offices computer systems at his disposal.
Anything a Congressman or their staff used, whether official or not, likely was compromised.
Two Democrats (of the almot 40 Democrats) employing Awan were on the House Committee for Intelligence. Did they follow security protocols and not discuss business on their office systems???

No, it’s not explained. Epoch Times & Gateway Pundit are pushing this BS, as I critique here

“Disappeared” is a misnomer; it was fraud on the part of the US Congressman hosting it: Now-AG of California former Rep. Xavier Becerra who “abruptly-resigned” from Congress despite the fact that he was to ascend to ranking member of the Ways & Means Committee.
It was more than a “couple dozen”: It was most all of them, and not a single Republican. Curious.
Awan is being HELD on bank fraud charges, no plea. Hearing set for July 3, which makes no sense at all unless the clock has run out on those charges.
Fact is we still know nothing about this and stinks of a cover up. Given the undertones, it may lend directly to “collusion”; think about it.
Why I just cannot fathom how some evidence detrimental to the Democrat party could go missing. Could it be some Democrats REMOVED it?
I just watched the movie “Star Chamber”. Good movie.
I smell mod Democratic party cover up!
