I grew up in Bay City, Mi.

Went to City Hall to see the group receive the key to the city when I was like 13.

On the way back to the west side my friend’s sister was driving and we pulled up next to their limo not knowing or caring who it was.

They rolled down the back window, smiled and waved before the cop escort slowed in front of us pushing us back.

Most embarrassing moment ever. I was in my first rock band at 13 and all that mattered to me then was Rush and Yes.

S.A.T.U.R.D.A.Y. Night! (head shake)

Chin up. Bay City Rollers founding member David Paton is great bassist, singer and writer. Left them and founded the band Pilot with guitarist extraordinaire Ian Bairnson. The members of Pilot were in Abby Road studio and happened to be available when Alan Parsons and Eric Woolfson were working on the first Alan Parsons Project album. The members of Pilot became the backbone. David Paton sang and played on many APP albums.
