I would not be surprised that is the reason. I have never seen so many people on prescription drugs for ANYTHING and EVERYTHING. A friend of mine has always had insomnia and got a prescription sleep drug that said one of the side effects could be wanting to commit suicide. She had to stop taking it because that happened and she had never had any suicidal thoughts before that.

Yep.

And Ritalin and the other so-called ADHD drugs can lead to even worse things.

I used to laugh at the late-night TV commercials, sometimes one following the other immediately, one pushing some new ‘miracle’ drug that might cure some minor annoyance, and at the end five seconds of rapid fire warnings about how it might kill you, make you insane or something worse than the original problem...

.....And then sometimes mere seconds later, some ambulance chasing lawyer firm advertising for people who took that very same drug to join their class action suit...

But now I just shake my head in dismay.
