I have been carrying the flag for Joseph McCarthy for some time here on FR...

He was spot on. He should be an American hero. He gave his life, was hounded into his grave by the Left, but bought our country a few more decades before that rot set in.

One of my favorite books: “Blacklisted by History: The Untold Story of Senator Joe McCarthy and His Fight Against America’s Enemies” by M. Stanton Evans touches on all of those things.

Speaking of M. Stanton Evans, There are several youtube videos of Him talking about his excellent book that I read several years ago. They are definitely worth watching.

One of my favorite books is currently in my tagline. This opened my eyes like no other book of 20th century history, and I have read more than a few.
