Yawn...lazy Hollywood can go through old scripts and change the characters from male to female. How about a female version of "The Magnificent 7 with 7 Mary Sues"? The next iteration will be all the Rom-Coms rewritten with LGBT characters; "Harry formerly Sally Meets Sally formerly Harry".

Also, the show “Elementary” on CBS, is a Sherlock Holmes inspired series, in which Dr. Watson is a woman.

The Guns of Navarrone with an all female cast? I like it!

How about a remake of 7 brides for 7 brothers with 7 husbands for 7 sisters.

Just saw the trailer for "The Incredibles 2".
They've introduced a new black male character.
I have no problem with a new character, but the trailer makes it seem as if he will be the main focus of the movie and the Incredibles will become the Peripherals.

Overboard, which this is being remade was a remake of a really fun Goldie Hawn, Kurt Russell movie. THAT movie was a remake of a fabulous Italian movie called Swept Away
by an Unusual Destiny in the Blue Sea of August, directed by the great Lina Wertmuller. (Madonna attempted to remake THAT version with almost career ending results) The point of the original SWEPT AWAY was that women are only at their happiest when they are subservient to men. It drives liberals crazy because it was made by a woman director. It’s kinda brutal and a really honest look at gender roles and class distinctions. If you ever want to see a great movie, just rent the Italian movie. I own the Goldie Hawn version because it’s just a fun ROMCOM. I wouldn’t see the new one if you paid me.

A year since the 'Ghostbusters' dumpster fire and they have doubled down.

The Force Awakens was also a gender-swap remake. Plotwise it is nearly identical (94% by one count) to A New Hope, with the plot points in the same order as well.

Hollywood makes films to promote the leftist agenda. They do not make films to entertain. The story line is designed to get you interested in it, and to do the required suspension of disbelief. You are then susceptible to the message that is being delivered by means of the story line. Any entertainment value is incidental, and is secondary to the primary purpose of the film.

Keep it up and they’re going to find out fast a few blockbusters aren’t going to financially bail them out.

How about something like an all-woman remake of Alfred Hitchcock's
Lifeboat?
Who wouldn't want to see a boat of stranded women deciding which ones to toss overboard?

The most absurd feminist gender-swap adaptation that I've ever come across was a recent film version of Shakespeare's The Tempest with a Prospera instead of a Prospero.
