Correct me if I’m wrong but:

1. You cannot indict a setting President. Not Trump. Not Hillary. Long term Justice Policy and, IMHO, the Constitution.

2. The President can pardon anyone who has been indicted or convicted of a crime.

3. The President cannot be indicted so the question of pardoning himself can never come up.

Only federal crimes, not state.

There does not have to be an indictment, conviction, or a charge. There does not even need to be a specific charge. It can be for “any crimes” between certain dates.
