In Va, elections are between mid-terms and Presidential elections, which means elections every year.
I have to drag myself to the polls for state elections, political campaigning never ends here.
and during mid-terms/Presidential years I get the joy of having to put up with ads from Tennessee and Kentucky as well.
close to the border of both, unfortunately. Politics even vitally important elections can be hard to get motivated for because the crap never ends for those stuck in VA.
I live in VA too. Somehow I manage to cast a ballot.
The point is that most don’t even bother with this election stuff, or at least more than any single political party. That is our country.
