But probably my favorite Stones album is Let It Bleed. The first time I heard Gimme Shelter was during BCT in December '69 on a Saturday night in the PX.
To call it a spooky experience would be a massive understatement.Every time i hear it I'm right back in that smoke filled PX.

Let it Bleed is great. The live version of Midnight Rambler (on Hot Rocks) has a good Charlie Watts drumming.
