The first time I heard Gimme Shelter was during BCT in December '69 on a Saturday night in the PX.

To call it a spooky experience would be a massive understatement.Every time i hear it I'm right back in that smoke filled PX.

If you've never heard the vocal track separated from instrumentals it's on youtube.Amazing!

Let it Bleed is great. The live version of Midnight Rambler (on Hot Rocks) has a good Charlie Watts drumming.
